So, tell me, where does the arrow point to, and who invented roses?

It's quite possible that in less than 10 minutes, I lost a $10,000 grant. But, in my defense, I was honest. The grant is only for 6-8th graders and we applied for k-5th grade. I don't know what the grant writer told her, but I'm not gonna lie about it.

i abhor grant writing... it's so tedious and particular... i suppose that's not really a bad thing per se..but it sure makes it tough to qualify!

Good for you! Sure maybe the money would have been nice. But the cost of knowing it was wrong would cost much more.

This is two nonprofits, hoping to work together, and while it sounds good, it so isn't. I told this other nonprofit what we could/would do, then they had me call the grant funder to clarify some information. Turns out, they applied for something completely different from what I said...and they did not tell me any of this when they told me to call. Blah.

Well, that's what happens when the right hand doesn't what the left is doing. What a pain in the arse that you had to deal with.
